Aggressive display of the Ringed Plover

THIS account, and the accompanying photographs, are the result of an investigation into the aggressive displays of the Ringed Plover (Charadrius h. hiaticula). The displays were evoked by means of a stuffed specimen of a Ringed Plover, and by the use of a mirror.
