Sitting firmly within the centre of Poland’s capital, Warsaw, my local patch is an 8-km stretch along the east bank of the River Wisła (or Vistula River). Despite being an amazingly wild place to have in the middle of a large city, it is still surprisingly under-birded; for a time, I thought I was the only birder here!
