At about 17.20 hrs on 15th October 2020, my wife and I saw what appeared to be a large ball rolling along the path in our garden, which is in a large village near Warrington, Cheshire. On closer inspection we discovered it was a Eurasian Sparrowhawk Accipiter nisus and a young Wood Pigeon Columba palumbus, locked in combat.
