my last note on the recovery of Starlings marked at Bradfield, Berkshire (Brit. Birds, VI., p. 13), twenty-five captures have to be recorded. Only two of these occurred abroad, or indeed more than five miles from the place where they were ringed, viz. :-- B.B. 31, marked on Jan. 16th, 1911.
