Kestrel pellets at a winter roost

D U R I N G T H E W I N T E R of 1958-59 I collected 113 pellets of Kestrels (Falco tinnunculus) beneath roosts in a disused quarry near the Dale estuary, Pembrokeshire. The quarry is on a steep bracken-covered hillside surrounded by farmland and the saltings and lagoons of the estuary.
