On 20th August 2020, as part of my ongoing studies with the species, I located a Wood Pigeon Columba palumbus nest at Otterspool Promenade, an area of public parkland, in south Liverpool, Lancashire & North Merseyside. The nest was about 3.5 m above the ground in a Hawthorn Crataegus monogyna and an adult Wood Pigeon could be seen sitting on the nest from where I was stood
