Abstract
An Eastern Kingbird Tyrannus tyrannuswas found on Barra, Outer Hebrides, on 29th September 2016 and remained until the following day. What is believed to have been the same individual was relocated at Bornish, South Uist, on 2nd October. This is the first British and the third European record, following sightings in Co. Galway in both 2012 and 2013.
