Field Guide to North American Flycatchers: kingbirds and Myiarchus

Having reviewed and enjoyed Cin-Ty Lee and Andrew Birch’s Field Guide to North American Flycatchers: Empidonax and pewees (Brit. Birds 116: 533–534), I was excited to get my hands on this publication, which covers the similarly tricky-to-identify Tyrannus kingbirds and Myiarchus flycatchers of North America. As with the first title in this series, the layout is pleasant and the approach to identification is rigorously detailed and systematic. I really enjoyed the presentation of habitats and found the accompanying photos to be a worthwhile addition.
