Abstract

This short paper details the long-distance movements of a Mediterranean Gull Ichthyaetus melanocephalus, originally ringed in Poland and found wintering in the Azores, Portugal. The presence of the bird during two winters suggests the archipelago may be the individual’s regular wintering area.
