Publication of October 2023’s issue of British Birds, which will contain the BBRC report on rare birds in Britain in 2022, will be delayed until mid October. With more records than usual sched-uled to appear in this report, including records that had been missed in the reports for 2020 and 2021, it was decided that more time than usual was needed to finalise the report. While we always strive to deliver issues on time, the BB Board decided that a short delay to the delivery of the October 2023 issue would be more desirable than a potentially incomplete report.
