In spring 2020, a pair of Great Tits Parus major bred in a nestbox in my partner’s garden in Cambridge. The nestbox was located on the back wall of the house, half shielded by a Fig Ficus carica tree. On the morning of 5th May we heard chicks in the nestbox and saw a Great Tit flying to and from it several times.
