Mark Rehfisch, an ecological consultant and former Director of Development for the BTO, died on 8th October 2019. He will be particularly remembered for his work on waders and climate change.
Mark was a birdwatcher from childhood; as he grew up, his approach to ornithology became underpinned by science. As he said in one of those strange pro-forma interviews that becomes an online profile: ‘
